The MGFC Billfish Bonanza 2026 is a tag and release tournament held November 20–22 in Mooloolaba, Australia, targeting blue marlin, black marlin, and sailfish across the productive waters off the Queensland coast. The tournament features divisions for light and heavy tackle, with separate categories for boats over and under 7 meters, as well as senior, junior, male, and female competitors. Mooloolaba Game Fishing Club, based at Mooloolaba Marina, sanctions the event through the QGFA, and data collected supports regional research and conservation programs.
