The Lazy Marlin Hunt runs March 19-23, 2026, as the opening event of the Hawaii Marlin Tournament Series in Kona, where you'll target blue marlin, black marlin, striped marlin, and yellowfin tuna against top local crews. This five-day tournament awards points for tag and release billfishing as well as weighed catches, with optional jackpots available alongside competition for top boat and angler honors. The event kicks off HMTS's eight-tournament season that spans March through August throughout Hawaiian waters.
