The Garmin Blue Marlin Classic, held annually on the Gold Coast of Australia, draws anglers to one of the Southern Hemisphere's premier blue marlin fisheries during the peak season in April. Hosted by the Gold Coast Game Fish Club, the three-day tournament takes advantage of year-round access to blue and black marlin in waters off Queensland's coast.
